Locke Fantasia Locke Courante Locke Sarabande Purcell Chaconne Locke: Never Trouble Some notes from Anne: 1) The first piece (our technical stretch piece!) is provided in both score and parts, since the score is 4 pages. Other pieces are score only. 2) If a player does not play tenor or bass, substitute soprano for tenor parts in the first three pieces 3) If you have alto only players, I recommend the following): Most of each of the tenor parts in the fantasia (piece 1) is playable on alto- a few notes will have to be left out or taken up the octave. For the courante (piece 2): The second part is playable on alto. For the sarabande (piece 3) both parts are playable on alto. For the pieces after that, there is a designated alto part. |
